In Collaboration with SAMPLE, Nickalus worked with colleagues to create a synthesizer controlled by discreet hardware scattered across an art gallery hosted by Portland State University. The synthesizer utilized simple hardware such as switches, buttons, and sliders communicating to a breadboard utilizing Arduino and Teensyduino to communicate to a digital synthesizer designed in MaxMSP. The synthesizer was created in conjunction with a concert series hosted by Portland State University.
Sadly, I am unable to find any remaining pictures or files of this project. The cover art is the aftermath of a lot of tiny little metal pins while working on the board.
